    KRS offers individualized treatment in a format that meets the need of the client. Strength, balance and endurance for home, school and play are essential components to the start of care.

    Can Your Child Benefit from Therapy?

    Normal growth and development is viewed on broad scale, but the following red flags may signal the need for a Therapy evaluation:

    • Poor muscle strength/tone
    • Under/over sensitive to stimuli
    • Poor self-regulation
    • Difficulty with sleeping patterns
    • Extreme difficulty tolerating changes in routine
    • Limited diet, will only eat certain tastes/ textures
    • Movements look awkward or uncoordinated
    • Difficult to calm as an infant
    • Poor handwriting
    • Poor safety judgment
    • Reacts emotionally/aggressively to touch
    • Decreased awareness of pain and/or temperature
    • Has very strong clothing preferences (i.e. only wears long sleeves, only wears sweatshirt material)
    • Difficulty using hands for fine motor activities (i.e. tying shoes, buttoning, opening containers, playing
      video games)
    • Prefers being alone in small enclosed spaces (i.e. under table, in tent)
    • Is a perfectionist or compulsive about placement of belongings
    • Poor language/ articulation skills
